Abstract
This study aims to describe the role of orphanages in coaching religious orphans at the Orphanage of Orphan Girls 'Aisyiyah Yogyakarta, describe the role of the family in the religious coaching of orphans around the orphanage, and explain the religious coaching differences in the Orphanage of Orphan Girls 'Aisyiyah Yogyakarta and families around it. This research uses a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques include observation, interview, and documentation. The findings related to the role of orphanages in coaching religious orphans show that caregivers have the obligations and rights to give reprimands and prohibitions on foster children. While the role of the family in the religious formation of non-orphanage children is the family has the obligations and rights to give orders and control the life of the child. As for the differences in the religious coaching of orphans in the Orphanage of Orphan Girls 'Aisyiyah Yogyakarta and families around it is that the orphanage has complete infrastructure for the process of religious coaching, more caregivers and rarely foster children who are addicted to gadgets. On the other hand, families do not have complete infrastructure during the coaching process, the number of coaches in families is limited and some non-home children are becoming addicted to gadgets. The equality of religious coaching for foster children and non-orphanage children is religious coaching material which includes the procedures for ablution, prayer and reading the Qur'an.
