HUBUNGAN TINGKAT RELIGIUSITAS DENGAN PERSEPSI TERHADAP LGBT SEBAGAI PENYIMPANGAN: METODE PENGUMPULAN DATA MENGGUNAKAN KUESIONER KERTAS TERBUKA
Abstract
Background: In 2013 it was reported that there are two national networks of LGBT
organizations consisting of 119 organizations located in 28 provinces from 34
provinces in Indonesia. In Islamic law LGBT is prohibited by the Shari'a. But in the
predominantly Muslim country of Indonesia, LGBT development is on the rise.
This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship of religiosity levels
with perceptions of LGBT as aberrations.
Method: This research used quantitative method with sample 48 students from
PSPD and civil engineering. Data collection using open questionnaires. The
questionnaire was then tested for its validity using a pearson correlation test and the
reality was tested with chronbach alpha. Data analysis using spearman correlation
test to find out the relationship of both variables and linear regression to see
influence of year of force to religiosity.
Result: The mean value of zscore religiosity of PSPD (0.147) was higher than that
of civil engineering (-0.147). PSPD has an average perception score (48.87) higher
than that of civil engineering (47.96). A total of 72.91% of respondents agreed
LGBT as deviation and 27.08% others classified as neutral. The values of p zcore
religiosity of the belief dimension (0.398), knowledge (0.395), implementation
(0.681) and appreciation (0.899) with perceptions of LGBT as deviation none
showed <0.05 with corellation coefficient <0.20. The sig value. linear regression
test between year force with religiosity is 0,248.
Conclusion: There is no relation between religiosity and perception of LGBT as
aberrations.
