STRATEGI PROMOSI PT. TEMPO INTI MEDIA TBK. BIRO JATENG – DIY DALAM UPAYA MENINGKATKAN JUMLAH PENGIKLAN SURAT KABAR HARIAN TEMPO PERIODE 2013 – 2015
Abstract
Promotion is the means to communicate or convey a message to consumers or the general public, the message must be communicated clearly, accurately, and communicative so that the message can be conveyed properly without interruption and on target so that the message effectively, efficiently and in accordance with objectives are achieved. A company must have a strategy that is different - different in attracting consumers to be attracted to the product - the product being offered. The strategy is planned for activities that can run effectively and efficiently in accordance with the goals and objectives are achieved.
For companies engaged in the world media, should have a variety of ideas - ideas and creative innovation and fresh so that is always up to date and able to compete with competitors - competitors are mushrooming, in addition to the development of an increasingly technological edge provides a very significant impact for media
companies because of the influence of increasingly sophisticated digital. The influence of digital media provides a very significant impact for the company - a media company, a lot of people who choose or shift to digital media in accessing information, this is a challenge that must be faced for enterprise media, especially the print media, they must continue to develop and work in order to remain a leader market.
This study sought to analyze promotional strategies PT. Tempo Inti Media Tbk. JATENG Bureau - DIY in Efforts to Increase Number of Daily Newspapers Tempo Advertiser period 2013 - 2016. In this research method used was descriptive method, the location of the research is on Jl. Colonel Sugiono No. 47 Keparakan, Mergangsan, Yogyakarta representative office of Tempo Media Tbk bureau JATENG and DIY. Data collection method used in this research is by interview, observation and collection of files, records or official documents Tempo Media. Data analysis technique used is qualitative analysis. Test the validity of the data that is applied is by using triangulation.
Results were conducted in this study concluded that PT. Tempo Inti Media Tbk using strategy and planning through using promotional mix are advertising, sales promotion, personal selling, public relations, direct marketing
