The purposes of this research are (1). To view about the Public Relation (PR) Division of Salatiga Local Goverment’s programm, related to gather activities with the Communication Society Forum in Salatiga; (2). To know further the relativism between the Communication Society Forum in Salatiga and the Public Relation (PR) Division of Salatiga Local Government in spreading information from top (Governmet) to down (society), or down to top. The research subjects are the Public Relation (PR) Division of Salatiga Local Government and the Communication Society Forum in Salatiga, focussed only on two subdistricts. Dissemination from Government to the society is a must priority. Through Communication Society Forum, Government has the brief way to spread information to society.With harmonic, transparent, and trustworthy communication system,governmental development policy will hopefully ‘listen’ the society interest or needs, and will be society oriented. This research used qualitative descriptive method with study case approach based on problems appear on the year 2014 until 2015. The Public Relation (PR) Division of Salatiga Local Government approached the Communication Society Forum in Salatiga by interviewing to match the perception between local government and the society; to spread information; and to absorb society’s aspiration. The conclusions of this research are: (1) The plan programs between the Public Relation (PR) Division of Salatiga Local Government and the Communication Society Forum in Salatiga go well so far. (2) The Communication Society Forum in Salatiga is well functioned, and it is strategicly used as the media for spreading information from government to society, and viceversa
