Background : Health-care associated infections is common in the world with the most cases happen in poor country and developed country because the infectious disease is the main cause. One of prevention HAIs is by handwash using five moments hand hygiene. Altough hand hygiene is the important action to prevent HAIs but the compliance of the healthworkers still low. The purpose of the research is to know the impact of video media education of the compliance enchancement of healthworkers when doing hand hygiene in hemodialisis clinic. Metode : This study is analytic quantitative study that use quasi-eksperiment pre test dan post test design. Sampling method using total sampling. 11 healthworkers have been enrolled to this study started from August 8th until August 18th in Nitipuran Hemodialysis Clinic. Healthworker’s compliance assessment using five moments hand hygiene checklist provided by World Health . This video media education use healthworkers as role model in video and it is played for three days. Result : From 203 moment of hand hygiene before patient empowerment and 247 moment after patient empowerment, healthworker’s compliance on hand hygiene increase 17.89 %, which is physician increase 14.50 % whereas nurse 19.84%. Based on measurement in statistic use the paired sample t test with the p value 0.004 (<0.05) which mean there is an enhancement impact of video media education to the compliance of healthworkers and use satistic independent t test the p value is 0.000 (<0.05) is enchancement compliance especially in the moment after touching patient sorrounding. Conclusion : video media has an impact in the enhancement of healthworker’s compliance when doing hand hygiene
