ASPEK BELAJAR MAHASISWA FARMASI UNIVERSITAS MUHAMMADIYAH YOGYAKARTA PADA METODE PROBLEM BASED LEARNING (PBL)
Abstract
Problem-based Learning (PBL) is a learning model based on problems. The problems are used as stimulus that encourage students to use their knowledge in formulating hypothesis. This research aims at finding out the learning aspects of students of pharmacy department of university of muhammadiyah Yogyakarta on problem-based learning (PBL).
This research used observational design with cross sectional approach. The respondents are the students of Pharmacy Department of UMY batch 2012 were selected using Simple Random Sampling selection techniques. Learning aspects consist of five components; motivation aspect, activity, persistence, thinking ability and curiosity that are marked from the questionnaire. The questionnaire was declared valid after going through validity and reliability test with the result of the value of r count bigger than r table (>0.381). The data analysis used descriptive analytic test.
The result of the research indicates that the learning aspects on PBL method are in the high category that is 76,79%. Motivation aspect have a percentage of 78,57%, activity 76,78%, persistence 75,00%, thinking ability 73,21%, curiosity 80,36%.
