GAMBARAN PERSEPSI PASIEN TERHADAP ASUHAN KEPERAWATAN ISLAMI DI RUMAH SAKIT PKU MUHAMMADIYAH GAMPING
Abstract
Background: In fact, there are many Islamic hospitals in Indonesia, but they
still do not have the characteristics of Islamic health services or based on the
teachings of Islam. So that the identity of the Islamic Hospital as a health
service is still lacking or not much different from other public hospitals.
Nurses are categorized as being able to meet the biological needs of their
patients as well. But in terms of spiritual nurses are categorized as not good
because they have not been able to meet the needs of their patients, for
example nurses have never asked the religion of patients, nurses have never
advised patients to pray before taking action, and nurses never reminding
their patients to do prayers.
Aims: The purpose of this study was to find out how the patient's impression
or response to Islamic nursing care at PKU Muhammadiyah Gamping
Hospital.
Methods: This study uses descriptive quantitative type with cross sectional
approach. Respondents from this study amounted to 84 people, where
respondents were inpatients of adult wards who had undergone treatment
more than one day at PKU Gamping Hospital. The sampling technique is
accidental sampling. Analysis of the data used is Univariate and is presented
in the form of frequency and percentage.
Results: The results of the study showed that the patient's perception of the
provision of Islamic nursing care was 45.2% good and 54.8% was not good.
Conclusion: It is recommended for hospitals to further improve Islamic
nursing care in hospitals, especially Islamic based hospitals.
