EVALUASI PROGRAM PENDIDIKAN BAHASA ARAB DI PONDOK PESANTREN MODERN AR-RIDHO BANTEN
Abstract
This research aims at: 1) finding out the context of Ar-Ridho Modern Islamic Boarding School, 2) finding out the existing inputs in Ar-Ridho Modern Islamic Boarding School, 3) studying the process of the Arabic language education program in Ar-Ridho Modern Islamic Boarding School, 4) finding out the achievement result of the Arabic language education program in Ar-Ridho Modern Islamic Boarding School.
This research was ex post facto evaluative using qualitative mixed method with Stufflebeam’s CIPP evaluation model. The subjects of this research were Ar-Ridho Modern Islamic Boarding School including the Ustadz (Islamic teachers) and the Arabic language students, as well as 42 questionnaire respondents. The data collection technique was through observation, interview and documentation. The data analysis technique was qualitative, using Milles and Huberman’s theory, which involved 3 stages: data reduction, data presentation, and data interpretation. The quantitative data was analyzed using descriptive statistic.
The result of this research indicates that: 1) in the stage of context, Ar-Ridho Modern Islamic Boarding School is categorized as good, 2) in the aspect of input, Ar-Ridho Modern Islamic Boarding School is categorized as fair, 3) in the aspect of process, Ar-Ridho Modern Islamic Boarding School is categorized as fair, 4) in the aspect of product, Ar-Ridho Modern Islamic Boarding School is categorized as good.
