PENGARUH JOB STRESS TERHADAP TURNOVER INTENTION DENGAN KEPUASAN KERJA SEBAGAI MEDIASI SERTA KOMITMEN AFEKTIF SEBAGAI MODERASI HUBUNGAN ANTARA KEPUASAN KERJA DAN TURNOVER INTENTION
Abstract
This research was purposed to examine the role of job satisfaction as the mediating variable in the influence of job stress towards turnover intention and examine the influence of job satisfaction towards turnover intention which is moderated by affective commitment. The object of this research was Bank BPD DIY Syariah. After reviewing the literatures and formulating hypotheses, the data collected through the questionnaire method were 39 employee respondents using a saturated sampling technique. The data were then analyzed using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) while Smart-PLS 3.0 application was utilized to test the hypotheses. The research shows that job stress cannot directly influence turnover intention and job satisfaction is proven to be able to fully mediate the influence of job stress toward the turnover intention, and affective commitment cannot moderate the influence of job satisfaction towards turnover intention. That means when job stress is felt by employees of Bank BPD DIY Syariah is low, job satisfaction will increase so that it will reduce employee turnover intention, on the other side, the affective commitment of Bank BPD DIY Syariah employees is cannot moderate the influence of job satisfaction towards turnover intention.
