Currently the social relation between community of NU and Muhammadiyah seems to be pretty good. This research aimed at maintaining the good relation between NU and Muhammadiyah by revealing any possible conflict potential may occur and also the social integration built at Demangan village, Gondokusuman district, Yogyakarta city. The data sampling covered observation, in-depth interview, and documentation. Whereas data analysis was done through descriptive qualitative. In this research, the data was not in form of numeric data but the data was compiled through written explanation and elaboration from reputable sources. Thus, the analysis was aimed at elaborating and describing the da’wah activity of the head of Muhammadiyah branch Demangan Gondokusuman district Yogyakarta. The results were as follows: (1) there was conflict potential between the community of NU and Muhammadiyah at Demangan village. However, the potential can be prevented by the awareness of both communities to express mutual respect (2) social relation between the community of NU and Muhammadiyah at Demangan village is considerably good along the time.
