Karangsong Village, Indramayu District, Indramayu Regency is a coastal area that has extensive mangrove rehabilitation and is maintained every year. So that in 2015 Mangrove Forest area inaugurated as a tourist attraction area Mangrove Mangrove Karangsong which continues to experience good development, supported by the role of the government and the community around the object of tourism. The existence of attractions Mangrove Beach Karangsong Beach gives positive and negative impacts on economic conditions, social and environmental. Therefore, research on the impact of the development of Mangrove Forest tourism object on the economic, social and environmental conditions of the local community is needed. The purpose of this research is to know the impact of development of Mangrove Forest tourism object of Karangsong Beach to local economic, social and environment condition. Subjects in this study are the surrounding community who live in the location of tourism object Mangrove Forest Karangsong Beach. In this study the sample used as many as 100 respondents selected by using purposive sampling method. The analysis tool used in this research is descriptive statistic. From the research results can be concluded that the development of Mangrove Forest tourism object Karangsong Beach, it turns out to provide positive and negative impacts for local communities both from economic aspects, social and environmental. From the research found that most of the impact of tourism development that occurred suspected to have a positive effect. Thus, the development of Mangrove Forest tourism object Karangsong Beach located in Karangsong Village, Indramayu District, Indramayu District can make the condition of society better.
