The research entitled Legal Protection Against Copyright Holder Associated songs to sing back (Cover Songs) Music Or Songs Uploaded On YouTube aims to know and examine the form of legal protection against copyright holders relating to the cover song of music or songs uploaded on YouTube, in this case with the ramp of making a cover song without permission ie with the intent commercialize it especially through YouTube site so that many creators and owners of related rights feel harmed both morally and economically. The research method used in this research is normative research method. While the nature of the analysis used is descriptive qualitative. Technique of collecting data is done by way of literature study that is through approach of legislation related to legal issue under study, then from the formulation of this problem in research are: 1. How the legal protection against the holder of Copyright songs related songs to sing back (Cover Song) songs uploaded on YouTube without permission according to the Law of the Republic of Indonesia No. 28 of 2014 on Copyright. 2. How are the mechanisms and constraints related to royalty payments to re-sing (Cover Song) songs uploaded on YouTube. So to analyze the problem is using legal protection theory. Legal protection of copyrights in Indonesia in accordance with the mandate of Law No.28 of 2014. That is with the concept of legal protection against copyright holders related to the Cover Song music or songs uploaded on YouTube.
