FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI PERTUMBUHAN EKONOMI DI PROVINSI SUMATERA UTARA TAHUN 2009-2016
Abstract
Economic growth is an economic problem over a long period of time in an area that is affected by several factors. Factors that affect one of them is the population, inflation, and local revenue. This study aims to examine the effect of population, inflation and indigenous income on economic growth in North Sumatra Province in 2009-2016. The dependent variable used in this study is Gross Regional Domestic Product (PDRB) to measure economic growth in North Sumatra, and the independent variables are Population (JP), Inflation, and Pendapatan Asli Daerah (PAD). The analysis used in this research is using Data Panel model (pooled data) and two Least Square Dummy Variable (LSDV) approach. This approach aims to analyze the influence of economic growth in North Sumatra. Based on the results of the analysis used in the study obtained all variables have a significant influence on economic growth in North Sumatra. LSDV regression model shows PAD variable has positive and significant influence to economic growth in North Sumatera, population variable and inflation have negative and significant effect to economic growth in North Sumatera.
