PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN ALAT KONTRASEPSI HORMONAL (ORAL) TERHADAP OBESITAS PADA PRIMIPARA DAN MULTIPARA DI PUSKESMAS TEGALREJO, KOTA YOGYAKARTA, DAERAH ISTIMEWA YOGYAKARTA
Abstract
Background: contraception or anticonception is an attempt to prevent conception
by using means, tools, or medicines and one of the modern methods of
contraception is hormonal contraception. The prevalence of obesity in adults in
Indonesia is 15.4% higher than the prevalence of obesity in children is 8.8%.
Obesity in adults is more common in women. When seen from the increasing
trend of obesity prevalence in adult women always increase every year, where in
2007 obesity prevalence in adult woman equal to 13,9%, year 2010 its prevalence
equal to 15,5%, and year 2013 prevalence 32,9%. Obesity is an event in which the
occurrence of abnormalities or excess fat accumulation in the body. Factors that
affect the incidence of obesity in the mother one of them is the use of hormonal
contraceptives (injections, pills and implants).
Method: Research method used by researcher is quantitative with Crosssectional
research method. Observation or observational and observation of the object
examined all variables observed at the same time. Sampling was done by
observing medical record of KB user register and taken as many as 120 samples in
primipara and multipara category and has been in accordance with inclusion and
exclusion criteria. Data analysis with Chi-Square test done gradually include
univariate, bivariate and multivariate analysis. The data has been obtained and
then analyzed using SPSS computer software 22 version.
Results and discussion: From 60 primipara 3.33% had less BB, 73.33%, normal,
3.33% pre-obese, 20% obese grade I. While multiparas 1.67% weight less, 60%
normal , 10% pre-obese, 28.3% obese grade I. From these results, the study
showed that there was no influence between the use of hormonal contraceptive
(oral) against obesity in primipara and multipara. Based on the results of data
analysis using Chi-Square test connect between the influence of hormonal
contraceptive (oral) to obesity in primipara and multipara at get the result (p-value
= 0,262) The influence between the use of hormonal contraceptive (oral) against
obesity in primipara and multipara at Tegalrejo Public Health Center, Yogyakarta
City, Yogyakarta Special Region
Conclusion: It can be concluded that there is no effect on the use of hormonal
contraceptive (oral) on obesity in primipara and multiparous, but in some
individuals according to the inclusion criteria there is an increase in body index.
