Diabetic neuropathy is one complication of diabetes mellitus, characterized by pain and no sense symptoms. Diabetic neuropathy pain is one of the factors causing the declining quality of life in patients with type 2 DM.

Diabetic neuropathy was diagnosed by DNS method, pain degree was identified by using VAS method, and quality of life was measured by using a questionnaire from WHOQOL-BREF. Analysis of difference using Kruskal Wallis test and being continued by Post Hoc test.
Results: The lowest quality of life is severe diabetic neuropathy pain group (1,87±0,52). Kruskal Wallis test shows the difference among three independent variables are statistically significant (p<0,05). Post Hoc test shows a significant difference between severe-moderate diabetic neuropathy pain group and and severe-mild diabetic neuropathy pain group (p<0,05) and also no significant difference between moderate-mild diabetic neuropathy pain group (p>0,05).
Conclusion: There is significant difference of quality of life in type 2 diabetes mellitus patients with various degrees of diabetic neuropathy pain.
