KEJADIAN PROTENURIA PADA PASIEN NEUROPATI DIABETIK KELOMPOK PERSADIA DI RSI AMAL SEHAT SRAGEN
Abstract
BackgroundDiabetes mellitus is a chronic metabolic disease and have many complications especially in eyes, nerves, kidneys, heart, and vascular. First complication showed symptoms is neuropathy diabetic. Proteinuria is one of predictor nephropathy diabetic which is a risk to lead end-stage renal disease (ESRD).
Research Methods This study is descriptive research with ordinal categorical variables cross-sectional design. Subject of this study is 75 diabetic patients (members of PERSADIA in RSI Amal Sehat Sragen). All patients was given same treatments Michigan Diabetic Neuropathy Score (MDNS) physical examination and Esbach method urinalysis (quantitative).
ResultsThe result of proteinuria measured by Esbach methods and neuropathy levels measured by physical examination MDNS from members of PERSADIA have been obtained by correlation Spearman-Rho test. After the analysis of data obtained correlation value/ r=0,317 which indicate low correlation. Test showed there is signicance correlation between proteinuria and neuropathy levels with p-value=0,006 (p<0,05).
Conclusionfrom the results can be concluded that proteinuria has a very low positive correlation with neuropathy levels in members of PERSADIA of RSI Amal Sehat Sragen showed that increasing levels of neuropathy not always accompanied by findings or increading protein levels. It can be caused by other dominant factors beside neuropathy.
