MANAJEMEN ISU DINAS PERHUBUNGAN KOTA YOGYAKARTA
Abstract
There’s an issue because of the policy from some organization. Yogyakarta Department of Transportation made a Free parking area policy at Jeron Beteng which made a negative issue from the group who gets the direct impact of it. Public relations of Yogyakarta department of transportation made an issue management which is oriented to the process of issue management and giving solution to the certain group who gets impact of free parking policy
The method of this research is descriptive qualitative which gave the detail images about management issue of Yogyakarta department of transportation about free parking area issue. Interviewing, documentation and journal book was the technique of how to collect the data. Data analysis was made by collect the data, data reductions, data presentation and then the conclusion. Data validity has done by compare the situation and the people perspective also to compare the interview and the document issue about research.
The research shows us that public relations of Yogyakarta department of transportation ineffective and the programs that are conducted in responding to the issue do not go maximally. The supporting factor for the Yogyakarta department of transportation is some related institution are helping the process of implementation the program while the prohibitive factor came from the group of who gets the impact of free parking area policy at Jeron Beteng which is they lost their job.
