dc.descriptionASEAN Economic Community (AEC), has been in place since early 2015. MEA aims to create a single market and production base in which goods, services, investment and skilled labor are free to move from one country to another within the ASEAN region. This will make the opportunities and threats for Indonesian workers. The ability to utilize MEA challenges into opportunities of progress and development of Indonesia depends on the readiness of government, business, and society at large. If processed and managed well, product and labor Indonesia has the potential to dominate the Southeast Asian market. Conversely, if not ready to compete, it will increase the number of unemployed in Indonesia and Indonesia will aimed become a market for other ASEAN member countries. The purpose of this study was to know whether Al-Washliyah UMN students understand the implications of the implementation of MEA ; whether Al-Washliyah UMN students feel the need to increase preparedness in the face of the MEA; and how prepared students in the face of the MEA. The population in the study were all students of the 6th semester Faculty of Economics Management Prodi, amounting to 502 people, samples were taken at 20% as many as 100 students. Methods of analysis used is descriptive qualitative method. The results showed that the readiness of the students in the face of the MEA by 65%.en_US
